/organizing your items//
Thought I’d take a bit of a break from Christmas, don’t worry- more to come! I’m in the middle of doing this on my personal account, so I thought I’d make a tip on how I’m doing it.
________________________

- Break it down.
Don’t try to get it all done in one day, unless you only have a few pages or items. In my case, I have like some 400 pages. So, I’ve been trying to do about 10-20 pages a day, then I write down what page I stopped at on a sticky note on my laptop.

- Start with what you have of clothing.
Go through each type in your chunk of pages. Shirts, jackets/vests, shoes, hats, bottoms, ect. If you have a lot of bottoms, you can break them into shorts and pants, but I didn’t have that many so I just combined them together.

- Next, those certain people.
If you have a lot of pictures of specific sitemodels that you tend to use a lot, tag them by their name or their tumblr names, whatever you know them by. Also, if you have ongoing roleplays that you use the same sitemodel for you character, it might be a good idea to put your characters name somewhere in the tag, in parenthesis after the sitemodels name or something, just so you know who is who :)

- Combine other sitemodels.
For sitemodels you only have a few or less pictures of, make a general tag of people. It would probably be best to separate these into two tags, boys and girls. Make the names of these tags match, so you know what they are. For instance, “cuties [girls]” / “cuties [boys]” or “peoples [girls]” / “peoples [boys]”, ect.

- Any pictures you have, according to you style.
Like, if you usually make sets that are within the same color ranges, organize your pictures by color. If your sets use a lot of text, or say newspaper print, tag those too!

- Delete, delete, delete!
I almost forgot this!! Obviously the more items you have, the harder it’s going to be to organize them all. If you come across items that you’ve never used and probably won’t use, delete them. They’re only taking up room.

getting into the christmas spirit ♥
Okay, so I'm sort of in a rush here but I wanted to post another tip so I can get back into it full-heartedly :)
- - -

- Get shopping done early! There's nothing more stressful than waiting in long lines and fighting your way through crowds to find what's left on the shelves.

- Decorate your room! I'll make a tip on this later.

- Help your family decorate. My mom and I usually wait until the week after Thanksgiving, then we take a whole day to go all out :)

- Bake Christmas snacks! Cookies are always sweet to give out to friends.

- Listen to Christmas tunes

- Watch Christmas movies. Invite some friends over and lounge in your pajamas with some holiday classics.

- Gingerbread houses

- Ice skating

- Smores

- Hot chocolate/Apple cider/Egg nog

- Countdown! Put this somewhere you’ll see it every day, like in your locker or on your mirror.

- Ugly Christmas sweaters. Oh, please. Who honestly doesn’t love these? ;)

- Photoshoot with friends. You can wear reindeer antlers or those Santa hats

- Charity. Some that I love are the Samaritan’s Purse, Toys for Tots, The Salvation Army. Most schools also offer some way of giving back, like mine encourages classes to adopt a family, and the students can bring in toys, clothes, and any necessities they need.

- As the holiday gets closer, drive around and look at all the Christmas lights!

- Decorate your Christmas tree, once you have one.

- Spring for some Christmas pjs.

- Christmas caroling, if you’re into that.

- Get a Christmas-y background for you phone and/or computer.

- Christmas cartoons. They’ll be coming soon! The classics, like Peanuts.

- If it snows where you are, have a snowball fight or go sledding or something!

- Buy a new knick-knack to add to your Christmas collections. Like, my dad and I used to collect nutcrackers. Whenever I see one now, they always make me smile.

Tip 01- Back to School Shopping (on a budget)
First tip! Hope you guys like it. c:
Please leave requests in my inbox.
~
It's that time of year again- back to school. Joy. But let's look at the bright side, hm?
Now, if you're like me then you've probably already started preparing. Giving yourself a little bit of clothing inspiration, finishing up whatever summer homework is still drifting around, and dreaming of the great impression you're going to give your classmates!
While all this is exciting, back to school shopping can be a bit stressful as well- especially if you're on a tight budget.

1] Don't forget about your old clothes! Dig through your closet, find what treasures have been buried under that pile of shoes for months now. I would go ahead and do a nice cleaning-out. Take all the clothes from your closet, throw out what you don't wear anymore, and put the rest back in an orderly fashion. This gives two benefits, one is that your closet is left looking wonderful, and the other is the simple reminder of what you already have. Like, for example, if you look back on your past shopping, you might have bought mostly T-shirts- which means you already have plenty! If you remember this on your next trip to the mall, you won't be as tempted to buy as many, which means saving that money for necessities.

2] This is also related to the clothes sitting in your closet. Maybe you bought that one shirt the year before, but your style has changed so much since then. Or maybe you've lost some weight, and that tee doesn't fit you quite right. Or perhaps it's just simply that it's an old T-shirt, and you've worn it so many times it doesn't stand out as much to you as it once did. It's DIY time! There are so many things that you can do with old clothes, for every style. From studding to dip-dying and even messing around with the cuts of the shirts, it's an open door to a completely new closet, for barely any cost.

3] Thrifting. I personally love this, while others seem to find it gross and quite often laugh at it. But it's such a wonderful way to get a hold of cute and unique clothes, and they are usually priced extremely low. But, thrift stores are often not the most organized. Plus, thrift stores don't have the option of placing "the latest fashion" up on a manniquin. These stores have one of everything, no extras to show off. Which means you have to DIG. The best treasures in these stores are not going to jump out at you, you have to search for them.

4] Give yourself a guidance system. In other words, make yourself a list! While you're going through your closet, simply jot down items that you notice are missing. Maybe you need some more cardigans, or a pair of light-wash skinnies. This tactic can seem so picky, but it is a great way to make sure that you still gather the necessities, even on a limited spending budget.

5] Another tip for shopping on a budget? Look for deals! If you have some favorite stores that you always seem to drift towards, ask a sales attendent if they have a e-mail newsletter you could sign up for. These are amazing, because they let you know when any of their items are on sale. For stores like Target or JcPenny, maybe even Kohl's, keep an eye out on the T.V. Stores like these usually run commercials like crazy to get attention for a sale of theirs.

6] Still have some money left over and you're eyeing that one pair of boots, and maybe even that perfect pair of flats? Stop and think. Christmas, and maybe your birthday, is just around the corner. Are these something you can just as easily put on your wish lists, or buy with the money you get from the occasions? I would. If you have money left over, THAT'S GOOD. It just means you now have a little bit of extra money you can throw into your next shopping spree budget. But if you really want to buy something, I would seriously consider a few pieces of jewlery. Jewlery is something that you can mix and match everyday, and a lot of times a great statement piece will pull together your whole outfit.
~
Well, that's all I can think of. :)
Any questions? Comments? Concerns? I would appreciate any feedback that you can give me.
(My spell-check is broken, so I apologize if anything is in error- just let me know and I'll fix it.)

Oh, I also wanted to just set this straight- because I feel like it's something that should be known. :3
If you request a tip or advice, I will tag you when I post the set UNLESS you tell me that you'd like to remain anonymous. Then I will gladly respect that.
